Dear Gardener,
Thank you so much for sharing your garden harvest for hunger relief this year. We hope you had a bountiful season of growing and giving!
With frost in the forecast, remember that Kaizen Food Share is still accepting donations of homegrown produce of any kind - tree fruit, nuts, even green tomatoes!

Get the most out of your end-of-season garden with these frost tips, based on CSU Extension guidance:
Don’t forget your herbs! Basil is one of the first to go when temps drop, so harvest it before the frost. Parsley, sage, thyme, rosemary and mint are all welcome too.
Where / when can I donate?
We’re often out sharing homegrown produce in the community. The easiest way to find us is to schedule through the Fresh Food Connect mobile app.
What kinds of produce can I donate?
We welcome any fresh produce you would like to share - garden vegetables, tree fruits/nuts, even herbs! Frost in the forecast? Yes, green tomatoes are welcome!
I only have a small garden / small amount harvested. Can I help?
Yes! We accept any amount you choose to share. It all adds up to support our community.
Any other tips for donating my homegrown produce?
Funny shapes and a bit of garden soil are ok!
Try to harvest in the mornings, the day of your donation.
More harvesting tips are available here.
We are excited to help you share your bounty to support hunger relief in our community. Each donation makes a difference.
Thank you!
